The LHoFT is a Foundation registered in Luxembourg that was created on 14 March 2017. The purpose of LHOFT is to promote, encourage and support the development of innovative technologies in finance. LHOFT is a public – private sector initiative that drives technology innovation for Luxembourg’s financial services industry, connecting the domestic and international Fintech community to develop solutions that shape the world of tomorrow.
Infrachain is a nonprofit organisation (association sans but lucratif, a.s.b.l.) registered in Luxembourg that was created on 18 May 2017. The purpose of Infrachain is (i) to promote the development, the information and the knowledge with respect to the blockchain technology, and more generally distributed ledger technologies; (ii) to foster and to work for the blockchain community around the “Infrachain” network, on national and international level; (iii) to contribute to the development and perpetuation of economic activities of and in relation with the blockchain technology, and more generally distributed ledger technologies, including in Luxembourg and Europe, in particular by way of articulating and catalysing institutional, political and socio-economic aspects and dimensions useful for the achievement of this aim.
LIST is a Public Research Centre which develops technology-intensive solutions focused on environmental innovation, digitization and advanced materials. Its ITIS Department (IT for Innovation Services) is notably specialized in the application and development of tools and technologies to design, enhance and manage IT systems and their data in relation to security and privacy in different domains such as Blockchain Technology and Services, Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing, IoT, Data Mining, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Personalization, Archiving.
LëtzBlock is a non-profit association created to promote the thriving Luxembourg Blockchain ecosystem. We give a voice to blockchain in Luxembourg. We connect, educate, inform, and inspire through events, working groups, advocacy and more. The objectives of LëtzBlock are to inform its members of activities and related to Blockchain and Distributed Ledger technologies (shared registries), as well as related technologies, applications and industries and/or similar; create proposals and position papers on projects or initiatives related to the Blockchain Industry.
Uni.lu is a Public Institution of Higher Education and Research and SnT is an Interdisciplinary Centre at the Uni.lu which conducts advanced research and education in the area of Security, Reliability and Trust. The SnT conducts internationally competitive research in information and communication technology, ICT, with high relevance creating socio-economic impact. In addition to long-term, high-risk research, SnT engages in demand driven collaborative projects with industry and the public sector. Therefore the centre has set up a Partnership Programme with over 45 members targeting strategic areas addressing challenges confronting industry and the public sector in ICT. These resulting concepts present a genuine, long-lasting competitive advantage for companies in Luxembourg and beyond.
